You're Welcome

We're glad you're here!

We are a proud part of the Catalyst Vineyard family, we’re passionate about seeing lives changed through a personal encounter with Jesus. Our mission is to help people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, unlock their God-given potential, and play our part in radically transforming Aberdeen for His Kingdom.

No matter who you are or where you’ve been, we would love to meet you. Come just as you are, and discover a welcoming community where you can belong, grow, and thrive.

If you’re in need of support, we have a pastoral care system ready to help. Reach out to us via button below — because we’re here for you!

Kids & Youth

Kids

We can’t wait to welcome your family to Sundays at Catalyst Kids! From the moment you arrive, we want you and your children to feel right at home.

How it Works:
The Welcome: Look out for our team in the bright yellow t-shirts! They’ll be ready to greet you, show you where everything is, and help you get your child registered on our secure system.

Start Together: We love worshipping as a whole family! You’ll head into the main service together for the first 10 - 15 minutes.

The Big Transition: When the time comes, our leaders will head to the kids' rooms. This is where the real adventure begins as kids head into their age-appropriate ministries!

Pick Up: You’ll head back to collect your children once the main service ends—ready to hear all about their morning!

What’s Waiting for Them?
It’s not just "childcare"—it’s a jam-packed morning of Fun, God, and Adventure. Your kids will dive into high-energy games, awesome worship, and meaningful time to connect with new friends. Most importantly, they’ll explore the Bible and learn how to connect with God in their own unique way.

We’ll see you (we'll be in yellow) this Sunday!

Youth

At Catalyst Youth, we make spaces for Secondary school-age young people (S1-S6) to meet with Jesus and make decisions now that have a profound effect on their and the world's story.

These spaces happen midweek, and on Sundays, during our services at sites. Our midweek pattern looks like this:

SENT

In the first week of each month, each of our sites has their ‘SENT’ week, where they gather locally. Chat to your Youth Leaders at your site about what that looks like!!

GATHERED

On the other Tuesdays in the month we gather all the sites at our Gilcomston Park site in the city centre and join together for an evening of games, snacks, bible and worship!

What to Expect

Powerful Worship

Powerful Worship

We pursue God's presence with passion and hunger. We sing songs that will connect with people from all walks of life.

Bible Teaching Made Relevant

Bible Teaching Made Relevant

We unpack Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand, yet deep enough to challenge and transform always with a practical edge asking the question how does this apply to my life.

Ministry Moments That Matter

Ministry Moments That Matter

We believe that in the presence of the Lord, the impossible becomes possible, we have seen many people healed physically, discover their call, or find freedom as we pray for one another.

New here?

If you’re new to Catalyst Vineyard, we’d love to get to know you! Our Newcomers Dinner is a relaxed evening where you can meet some of our pastors and leaders, hear the story of our church, and discover ways to get connected.

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a meal, ask questions, and find out how you can be part of our church family. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Another way to build relationships and grow in your journey with God is to join a Connect Group.

Meet the Site Pastors

Scott & Sarah Robertson

Scott and Sarah are the site pastors of Catalyst Vineyard’s John Street Site. They’re passionate about seeing people thrive, lives change, and building a community where everyone feels welcome.

Sarah’s the creative one—there’s always a DIY project (or three) on the go, from upcycling furniture to trying her hand at something new. Scott, on the other hand, is happiest in all things football watching, playing or managing the world's worst fantasy football team. Together, they love the unique perks of Aberdeen: where you can stroll along the beach, grab a great coffee, and explore the mountains all in one day.

They’re all about making the most of this amazing city and seeing it become an even better place to live, grow, and connect with others.

Nathan Cuthbert

Nathan Cuthbert

Nathan is the Assistant Pastor at our John Street site. He’s engaged to Ellie and loves spending his free time playing basketball, picking up his guitar, or hanging out with friends and family. Nathan has a big heart for people and loves creating spaces where anyone can encounter the love of Jesus in a real and personal way.

He’s passionate about the city of Aberdeen and is excited to see how God will continue to move in and through the community. Whether he’s at church on a Sunday, catching up with someone over coffee, or on the basketball court Nathan’s desire is to see people discover the joy that comes from knowing Jesus.
